DARKSTALKERS - Jedah's damnation
Chapter 1 - The First Encounter of Sixteen Years
High above the Makai land, demons watched in shock, Morrigan was fighting against Demitri again. "It's been at least 16 years Demitri, just give up." she said giggling. The vampire smacked away falling rubble she sent at him. "16 years indeed, but now you'll be sent plumbing at my knees, this time, I will rule as the King of Makai." Morrigan sighed, "You never change do you?" she asked flying at him, her wings becoming like a jet. She was locked in combat against him again. Both of them continued blocking and striking, missing each hit until the jumped back. Morrigan seemed tired. "Hmhm, tired already Morrigan? It seems, I will win." his power seemed to increase as his arua glowed brighter and he vanished, punching her in the stomach and bit onto her neck. Morrigan managed to kick him in his stomach heel first and jump back firing a Soul Fist which managed to hit him face first. "Not bad, but not good enough." she said mockingly.
Demitri glared and smirked, "I have already won." he said, Morrigan then noticed her hand wasn't moving on her own accord. "Wh- What the Hell?" she gasped. "My new attack, Bloody damnation." he said walking to her. Morrigan glared and arched back, her wing tips aimed at the vampire and instantly fired missle like rays at him. Demitri managed to block each one and appeared in front of her only to get punched in the stomach. "You'd have to do better then that Maximoff." she said. Demitri chuckled and pinned her to the ground, "You have wasted your time, I however, honed my skills Aensland. This is the end!" he said in a victorious laugh. Morrigan smirked and got ready to fire a Soul Fist with her free hand as he struke at her. Before they both knew it, they vanished from sight.
UNITED STATES CURRENT DATE: DECEMBER 21, 2012
Anita, now 14 left from the Masters' Theater in New York. Looking at the sky, her blue skirt and white shirt calmly pressed, her brown hair still in pigtails but longer then they used to be. "Something is about to happen..." she muttered. She turned, "Donovan?" she asked calmly. She then heard screaming and looked, what resembled giant humanoid bees were flying around. Attacking people and killing them, Anita ran behind a building and watched. "what are these?" she said to herself. She looked up, the bees looked down hungerily at her. They had the build of a human but their skin was purple and gold. As they jumped and landed, the eyes were pitch black and their purple hair went to their backs. They seemed to buzz to each other. Anita, cornered, saw them approching. Her blue eyes turning purple, she pointed at them and the bodies of the bee like creatures exploded, blood flying against the walls. "Could this be the prohcepy?"

/\ Yes, indeedy! Sorry it took so long to respond, but I had to re-vamp (no pun intended, Demitri), my CPU.
< Never heard of Gunbird 2 on the Dreamcast, although I flirted with it briefly on MAME. I wonder if the arcade version is the same?

I am looking forward to see the new forum. With any kind of luck, it may even come with new users as well. Whatever happens, I'll stick around. The Darkstalkers series will not be forgotten.

Y' know, exactly two days ago, I would have been hesitant to switch to anything new, but seeing as how I just got a brand new COMPUTER,* a switch to something new might not give any problems here. 
*Yes, Shadowblader has stepped into the year 2000 and is now running Windows XP. Maybe in twenty more years, I can try Vista.

By the way, you guys...
I feel we need to discuss some things about the future of our little forum here.
SuddenLaunch forums are nice and all, but I've been thinking about moving everything over to an InvisonFree board- and for several good reasons. Easier admin and mod controls, the ability to make posts not count on certian boards, and a spambot filter.
Also, it's be easier to change the look of the forum, and we could even have different forum skins, eventually.
I don't plan on taking this forum down, though, because it's special not only to me, but to all of us. It will eventually have to go into archive mode, though.
So, what are your opinions?

^ Your situations sounds all too familiar to me. Almost makes me wish you could just splice in the registry entries.
< By the way, ever seen the Dreamcast version of Gunbird 2? It's pretty tough to beat on the higher difficulties, but it actually attempts to make a story, which is rare in a shoot'em'up, and it has some funny endings. And did I mention you can play as Morrigan?
